Salvadoran and Mexican, Cidya raised with the values of hard work, sacrifice and perserverance. Majoring in Criminal Justice with a double minor in Political Science and Communication, Cidya balance three jobs while attending school full time at Cal State Los Angeles. Her drive comes from deep sense of cultural pride and resposibility to honor her parents sacrifices and uplift her community. She hopes to one day pay forward to the next generation of Latino scholars.

First-gen and recent graduate of Valley Central High School, Diego is head to UC San Diego this fall with a powerful mission: to use edcuation as a tool to uplift his community. In his senior year, he founded the Frist-Generation Scholars Club, where he helped connect sutdents to scholarships, internships and college support- breaking down barriers that often stand in the way of success. Diego's goal? To one day launch his own non profit supporting low income, underserved students with resources they need to thrive.

Ulises, is a first-generation Latino graduating senior from top rated Oxford Academy in Cypress, CA, who exemplifies dedication and resilience. Having earned his place at Oxford Academy, through rigourous and highly competitive selection process, he has consistently demonstrated his academic and personal excellence. This fall, Ulises will continue his journey at the University of California, Irvine, where he will major in Piano Performance.
